Game Opening + OOC Meet and Greet!

First and foremost, I want to apologize to everyone for how long this took - I had meant to open this thing two weeks ago, but RL and work have both been super stressful on me.

The musebox still isn't quite up to par yet, but I know a lot of you are eager to begin your school-bound shenanigans, and I can still work on stuff in the background (including changing the boring default layout to something a bit more school-ish, help/pointing in the right direction would be greatly appreciated ;.;) while you guys have fun (and I'll still be participating too, of course.)

SO! I'd like to welcome all of you to Alternatia Academy! This musebox can be posted and replied to by anyone, anytime! All you need to do is reply to the Taken List and you're good to go with introducing yourself in the OOC comm and posting in the IC one! The CR Meme is always and forever open, so feel free to peruse it and reply to older threads and get some CR going! I'll likely make a new one every month or so for past and present CR!

You do not have to wait on me to reply to your taken list comment or to put you on the taken list before you can post/reply! The moment you comment on that post, you are good as gold! Please don't feel pressured to wait on me, I promise it's okay to post/comment!! I'm sorry I'm so slow at that...

All I do ask, however, is when you do your IC entries, please please PLEASE mark what they are (video/audio/text/action and location) in the subject of the post! It would help everyone else with what method to reply with!

And now that the game opening things are out of the way, ALTERNATIA ACADEMY IS NOW OPEN!

Hello, all! The name's Arc, and I'm the one who set up everything in this game so far. It's pretty bare-bones at the moment, and I apologize, but I plan to work on it slowly in the background while you guys do all the shenanigans you want!

My characters here are Juniper Fluttershy here, who's one of the three Fluttershy triplets... she's the artsy one of the triplets, liking to do doodles and such in her notebook. She's also notably the oldest of the triplets, and the moderately shy one, rather than the most or not quite as much...

There's also Miles Prower, who calls himself Tails, and is a science student who works on machines and inventions on the side. He's also a bit chatty, so, uh. Oops? |D;

And finally I have Honey Lemon, the chemistry teacher - she's super optimistic, super hyper, and super INTO EVERYTHING EVER!! Okay, not so much that last one. She's super peppy for sure though, and loves helping with things when there's a problem.

I'm looking forward to playing with all of you! :3 And watching shenanigans.

I'm Star and I'm fucking exhausted right now, so bare with me if I ramble like an idiot.

Iiiii have a few characters up, if I can remember who all that is. Which, if I remember properly, is Tsunade, Sonata Dusk, Rin Kagamine and Louise Beilschmidt.

Tsunade is your resident health teacher/nurse who's actually capable at what she does, holy shit. But she'll also probably make snide comments at people being idiots for however they get hurt and be the person that tells you all about how sex can kill you.

Sonata Dusk is a derptastic derp who loves tacos(????) and causing trouble. She's a sophomore.

Rin Kagamine is a total and complete brat who thinks she's actually a total diva. She basically runs a dance team in the school. She's a freshman with too much ambition and attitude.

And Louise Beilschmidt is the no-nonsense type of student that will :| face someone into eternity. And one of your resident lesbians, what. She's a junior, hurr.

Hello! I am Lyndon, I play. Characters? Yes, characters.

Coco Adel is a senior who loves fashion and beating up jerks. Her handbag is just as heavy as it is in canon, this time there's just no explanation.

Ruby Rose is a tiny freshman who loves tennis and fun and cookies. She can run very, very fast.

Amy Winston is a sophomore who likes video games and people not noticing she's actually a famous LPer on the youtubes. So she... tries to keep a low profile. Tries.

I are a Saria and I'm super excited for easy-going slice-of-life! My characters at the moment are...

"Iron" Liz Skotchil, AKA Ms. S, English teacher and DnD club coordinator. A terrible punster and a warm individual who also takes no shit. She goes well beyond the curriculum to really encourage her students to read what they love and love what they read, and it's gotten her in trouble sometimes but she's not stopping.

Ann Finley is a freshman and extremely socially awkward and shy young ginger with an overbearing older brother. She's trusting and loves making friends, it just takes some time to break the ice.

Scout, a senior and all-out troublemaker, best known for trash-talking staff and students alike and picking fights in the halls. And also for never being in class, be it suspension or skipping.

aaaand Tyler "90s Kid" Kidd, though pretty much nobody calls him Tyler, a sophomore who's a pretty bad student himself, but it's more out of obliviousness and rebellious desire to do his own thing rather than malice. He's way more obsessed with the 90s than he should be - was he even alive in the 90s? - and he's pretty much an idiot, but he means well.

Hello, everyone. I'm Triad, and I'm very much looking forward to having a good setting like this to play around in. I'm up for a lot of stuff, and I'm bringing two members from the Disgaea franchise here to play around with.

The first is Adell, in this universe known as Adell Holt. He has all the trappings of someone who looks like a delinquent: he's tough, strong, and powerful looking, with two scars that run down his face. Despite appearances, Adell's a very good person who is an ace athlete specializing in martial arts... and baseball. Also quite the dancer, but he rarely shows that off. He's no slouch at academics either, though he rarely, if ever, brags about his good grades. A young man of action, with a strong sense of justice and his own sense of style. He's 17 and a junior.

The second is Valvatorez, in this universe better known as Lord Valvatorez Dumitrescu Orlok. He will be fine with being called "Mr. Valvatorez" or "Mr. Val." An actual noble hailing from a Romanian house, after inheriting the family fortune, Valvatorez relentlessly pursued knowledge for quite awhile, until a certain someone convinced him to use his station, wealth, and knowledge to give back to the world. So here he is, as your history, literature, and civics teacher. A busy man, willing to teach a multitude of subjects. As a teacher, he is strict, but always fair; he has high expectations of his students and wants them to excel and succeed more than anything.

He's also a bit.... a lot of an eccentric. He still wears clothing with a cape (which he *will* swing around a lot), loves fencing and sword fighting, and will be bombastic and enthusiastic over all manner of strange things. Also, his pale complexion, red eyes, and heritage will have spawned rumors of him being a Vampire, even if he's not. That being said, he refuses to refute these rumors... and he might even play along if the mood takes him.

I might bring in more characters later if this sticks. I'm looking forward to playing with all of you!

Hey, people. I'm Espilan and the two I'm bringing in for now are WarioWare's Ashley and an OC named Celia Espellomente.

As far as this AU is concerned, Ashley (given the last name Cole for AU purposes) is a sophomore. She's not the most social kid—finds most people annoying, really. She also doesn't like doing things unless it's something she's specifically interested in, which her interests include reading, computers (particularly programming, as she has some interest in game development), and collecting masks.

Celia, on the other hand, is a freshman that loves being around other people. She'll stop and chat with anyone that doesn't just push her away, but she might get a little suffocating with it every now and then; she doesn't take loneliness very well and continually tries to build her circle of friends/acquaintances to avoid it. She's also noticeably short for her age, standing at only about four feet. Feel free to tease her over that, though she's quite used to it and may just laugh it off.

Depending on how things go, I may look at adding one or two more later on!
